The Axiom Supply Heavy-Duty Tie Rod System is engineered as a complete steering upgrade for select Polaris RZR and General models equipped with an M16 × 1.5 inner steering-rack connection and factory-style tapered spindle mounting points.

Replaces the complete driver- and passenger-side factory tie-rod assemblies.

Designed around heavy-duty chromoly heim joints with a 5/8-inch inner bore.

Fits compatible models utilizing a factory-style tapered outer spindle connection.

Not compatible with factory OEM inner or outer tie-rod ends.

Minor modification of the factory steering-rack boots may be required to fit securely around the inner clevis assemblies.

Polaris used multiple steering-rack thread sizes and spindle configurations across certain models and production years. Always verify the M16 × 1.5 rack connection and tapered spindle design before ordering.

5/8-Inch Chromoly Heim Joints – High-strength chromoly rod ends deliver precise steering response, increased durability, and an extended range of motion for factory and modified suspension systems.

High-Articulation Steering Design – Precision misalignment spacers allow the heim joints to operate through an increased range of steering and suspension travel without binding.

M16 × 1.5 Inner Clevis System – Heavy-duty clevis adapters connect directly to compatible steering racks and support each inner heim joint from both sides for a strong, properly aligned connection.

Black Zinc-Plated Inner Hardware – The inner clevis adapters and M16 × 1.5 rack bolts feature a durable black zinc finish for protection against corrosion, mud, water, and harsh off-road environments.

Precision Tapered Spindle Spacers – Vehicle-specific lower misalignment spacers seat securely inside the factory tapered spindle openings for accurate alignment and dependable retention.

Matching Upper Misalignment Spacers – Precision-machined upper spacers correctly position the outer heim joints while providing the clearance required for steering articulation and suspension travel.

Gold Zinc-Plated Outer Hardware – The tapered spacers, upper spacers, Grade 10.9 flange bolts, and flange nyloc nuts are protected with a corrosion-resistant gold zinc finish.

Fully Adjustable Alignment – Threaded heim joints and jam nuts allow precise toe adjustment during installation and future suspension alignment.

Complete Left- and Right-Side System – Includes the tie-rod bodies, heim joints, adapters, spacers, and mounting hardware required to upgrade both sides of the vehicle.

Description

The Axiom Supply Heavy-Duty Tie Rod System was developed for Polaris owners who need a stronger and more precise steering system than the lightweight factory tie rods can provide.

The system is built around precision-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum tie-rod bodies paired with heavy-duty 5/8-inch chromoly heim joints. This combination provides increased rigidity, reduced steering deflection, and the articulation required for aggressive trail riding, rock crawling, high-speed desert driving, larger tires, and modified suspension systems.

At the steering rack, black zinc-plated clevis adapters attach through the factory M16 × 1.5 mounting points. Each clevis captures the inner heim joint from both sides, distributing steering loads through a strong and properly supported connection.

At the spindle, precision-machined tapered lower misalignment spacers seat securely inside the factory openings. Matching upper spacers correctly position the outer heim joints and provide the clearance necessary for smooth steering articulation. High-strength Grade 10.9 flange bolts and locking flange nyloc nuts securely hold the outer assemblies together.

Every mounting component is protected with either a black zinc or gold zinc corrosion-resistant finish. This provides lasting protection against mud, water, moisture, and the demanding conditions encountered during off-road use.

The result is a complete steering upgrade designed to deliver responsive handling, dependable strength, and long-term durability for compatible Polaris RZR and General applications.
