The Axiom Supply AX6693 Heavy-Duty Lower Ball Joint is a direct-fit, press-in replacement for the factory OE-style lower ball joint used on select 2001–2010 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra HD trucks.

Designed to install directly into factory OE lower control arms and compatible aftermarket lower control arms designed to accept the OE-style / K6693 ball joint configuration.

Fits the front lower driver or passenger side on applicable 2WD and 4WD models.

Maintenance

Apply 2–3 pumps of grease during installation.

For continued performance, service with 1–2 pumps of grease every 5,000–7,000 miles. Avoid excessive greasing, as the dust boot is designed to exclude contaminants rather than retain excess lubricant.

Installation

Use a suitable ball joint press and follow the applicable installation procedures.

Final tightening must follow the torque specification for the supplied ball joint hardware. Use a calibrated torque wrench for final tightening.

Important: Do not use impact tools during installation.
