This premium front wheel bearing and hub assembly is designed specifically for 2019–2024 Ram 1500 4WD trucks on the fifth-generation DT platform equipped with the corresponding 6-lug front hub configuration and without factory 22-inch wheels.

Important Fitment Notes

Designed for 4WD applications only.

Fits the front driver or passenger side.

Designed for trucks equipped with the 6-lug 6×5.5" (6×139.7 mm) wheel configuration.

Does NOT fit 2019–2024 Ram 1500 Classic models. The Ram 1500 Classic uses the previous-generation DS platform and a different 5-lug front hub assembly.

Does NOT fit trucks equipped with factory 22-inch wheels. Those applications use the corresponding 515178-style hub assembly.

For RWD / 2WD trucks without factory 22-inch wheels, the corresponding 515180-style hub assembly is required.

Developed with Axiom Supply's premium bearing and hub construction, this assembly is designed to maintain proper bearing preload and minimize hub-face deflection under load—helping provide tighter steering response, consistent braking performance, and dependable wheel-end durability.

The AX515179 features a precision-machined 33-spline center, integrated ABS wheel speed sensor and wiring harness, heavy-duty bearing construction, and the factory-style 6×5.5" wheel bolt pattern used on the fifth-generation Ram 1500.

Each assembly comes as a complete direct-fit bolt-in unit and can be installed on either the front driver or passenger side.

Torque Specifications

Front Axle / CV Shaft Nut: approximately 184–185 lb·ft (250 Nm)

Wheel Lug Nuts: 130 lb·ft (176 Nm)

Hub/Bearing-to-Knuckle Fasteners: Verify the factory service procedure for the exact model year and configuration before installation.

Front Brake Caliper / Adapter Fasteners: Verify the factory service procedure for the exact brake package before installation.

Because the fifth-generation DT platform uses a different steering knuckle and hub mounting system than the previous-generation Ram 1500 / Ram 1500 Classic, do not use older DS-platform torque specifications when installing this hub.

Always confirm torque specifications for the exact year, drivetrain, brake package, suspension configuration, and vehicle before installation.
